Daily tour experience:

Guided tours are limited to 12 patrons maximum. Tours typically begin on the half hour starting at 10 a.m. and the last tour of the day is at 3:30 p.m. Tours are approximately an hour and ten minutes in length. Tours are subject to availability based on our schedule. Please call us at (912) 236-8097 to inquire about specific availability.

Parking & More

Museum location:
The Museum is at the corner of East State and Habersham Streets on Columbia Square in Savannah’s Historic Landmark District.

Parking:
Parking is available at on-street meters Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for approximately $2.00 an hour. Parking is free on Sundays.  Additional parking may be found at city garages with the closest at the corner of East State and Abercorn Streets.

Length of Visit:
Plan on a 50 minute to 1 hour visit.

Museum Rules:

For the preservation of the house and collections, we ask that visitors please:

Refrain from touching museum objects or leaning on the wallpaper and woodwork.

Refrain from eating and drinking in the exhibit area.

Turn cell phone to vibrate or turn it off completely.

Stay with your group. 

Only trained service dogs are allowed through the Museum.

Follow local mandates for health and safety.
