Holiday Traditions and Experiences of the Enslaved Community
Now in its second year, this Davenport House program, with Patt Gunn and Underground Tours of Savannah, explores 1820s holiday traditions for the enslaved workers. Featuring the “Saltwata Players,” guests experience song, dance, and foodways that reveal these often-overlooked stories.
