Daily experience:
Tours are limited to 10 persons maximum.
Visit the garden and museum shop on your own.

Business Hours:
Monday through Saturday tours begin on the half hour starting at 10 a.m. The last tour of the day begins at 4 p.m.

On Sunday the first tour begins at 1 p.m. and the last tour starts at  4 p.m

Closure Information

Dates the Davenport House closed at 1 p.m.:
Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve

Admission Information

Admission:
$10 adults, $5 children 6 to 17, children under 6 years free

Admission Discounts:
Discounts for AAA card members, Seniors, Military, National Trust member and Students (18-21) are available at the door and not through online purchases.   

When purchasing tickets online, please note the following steps: 
–  Indicate what day you wish to visit the Museum.
–  Call the Museum at 912-236-8097 to find out which tour times are available and choose one.  Your name and the number in your party will be logged.

Museum Location & Parking Information:

Museum location:
The Museum is at the corner of East State and Habersham Streets on Columbia Square in Savannah’s Historic Landmark District.

Parking:
Parking is available at on-street meters Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for approximately $2.00 an hour. Parking is free on Sundays.  Additional parking may be found at city garages with the closest at the corner of East State and Abercorn Streets.

Length of Visit:
Plan on a 50 minute to 1 hour visit.

Museum Rules:

For the preservation of the house and collections, we ask that visitors please:

Refrain from touching museum objects or leaning on the wallpaper and woodwork.

Refrain from eating and drinking in the exhibit area.

Turn cell phone to vibrate or turn them off completely.

Stay with your group.

Only service animals are allowed through the Museum.
