Throughout the year school groups and Scout troops visit the Museum. We welcome young people to experience Davenport House.

The “Activities Packet” below can be used for pre- or post- visit information. These materials may also be used for families with curious children visiting the museum. The “Teachers Materials” can assist a teacher or chaperone in planning a visit to the museum.

"Great House, Greater Tour

This was a beautifully preserved house, with a fascinating history. The tour guide, however, offered so many unexpected insights that made the experience so much more valuable. This house was destined for destruction, and proved to be the catalyst for the preservation of more than 300 structures in Savannah. That idea, alone, is inspiring. Lovely garden out back."  Recent review.
